We meet every Wednesday from 12:10 pm to 1:05 pm at the Park Hotel on the Capitol Square to enjoy lunch, connect with other community leaders and hear from guest speakers on a wide range of interesting and timely topics. Attendance is encouraged but not required.

• We participate in many hands-on service opportunities. Volunteer to help with community service projects.
• We focus on three key areas: Basic Needs, Education and Mentoring and Civic Leadership.
• With Rotary, you’ll be able to make a difference in the areas closest to your heart.

MAKE AN IMPACT

• It’s people like you who make up the heart of this city—people who promote change and take steps to make it happen. You shape our community and our future.
• Not only will you improve the world starting with your community and moving across the globe, you’ll advance yourself both personally and professionally by connecting with people from every sector.

• One-time admission fee of $200 which covers District and Rotary International dues and a processing fee.
• Membership dues of $880 per year which is billed in six-month increments. Members pay the $21 meal cost for each meeting attended.
• Contribute annually to our Madison Rotary Foundation (average gift is $300).
• Contribute annually to the Rotary International Foundation (average gift is $100).
• Although membership is by individual (and not by organization) membership is often funded by the company you work for because they recognize the value Rotary provides.

• Encouraged to participate in one or more of our 29 Fellowship Groups.
• In Rotary, our purpose is simple: join together to accomplish greatness—greatness for ourselves, our community and our world.

 

HOW WE SERVE OUR COMMUNITY

• GRANTS/SCHOLARSHIPS. $850,000 is annually distributed in grants and scholarships to local organizations and students through our Madison Rotary Foundation.
• VOLUNTEERING. In response to the requests and needs of local organizations, we create and fill volunteer service opportunities.
• ETHICS SYMPOSIUM. Our annual ethics symposium connects over 200 local high school juniors in an all-day session to learn how to deal with daily ethical dilemmas.
• POLIOPLUS. One of our largest global service projects works throughout the world to achieve polio eradication by promoting National Immunization Days and sending Rotarians to administer polio vaccines to local children.
• ROTARY YOUTH EXCHANGE. Rotary Youth Exchange provides a unique opportunity for greater global understanding among young people in our community and abroad.
