District 6250 serves 28 counties in southwestern Wisconsin and southeastern Minnesota.

Given the size of Rotary International, it is organized into various levels including Districts. At the core of Rotary is the club; for some clubs that means a few dozen members, the Rotary Club of Madison, has nearly 500 members. Clubs are grouped into districts covering over 200 countries. The Rotary Club of Madison belongs to District 6250.

Each District is led by a Governor; BEN BAUER is the Governor of District 6250 for 2022-23.
