An Introduction to Native American Pow-Wows

Meet two members of the Ho-Chunk Nation, ANNE and JOSH THUNDERCLOUD. Josh, a singer for over 40 years, will explain the importance of the drum beat, which is considered the heartbeat of mother earth. Anne, a singer and dancer, has been performing with her brothers and family across the United States for over 40 years.  Listen to the sounds of the drum as the Thunderclouds share their stories about pow-wows and their deeper meaning to Native Americans.
